The API KH Test Kit uses drops for much more accuracy (and tests!) than strip tests. Carbonate hardness measures the fish tank ability to moderate pH fluctuations. Also some fish require harder or softer water. The KH test kit comes with enough solution for more than 100 tests and each kit comes with color scale, drops, instructions, and beaker.
