In the wild the Steinitz Goby is a "prawn goby". Prawn gobies like with prawns and use their burrows to hide. In exchange prawn goby alert the prawns to approaching predators. In the aquarium these gobies get along with other fish and will require some tunnels or rocks to hide, and a two inch deep substrate of sand.
