The Story

Armed Pagoda Snail

Shaped like a medieval Castle in Japan, the pagoda snail is a gold brown scavenger and algae eater not known to breed and take over fish tanks. These snails are wild caught in rivers of Thailand and only available a few times a year. The pagoda snail grows very slowly to a maximum size of two inches and adapts well to any freshwater aquarium. Pagoda shells often have short spikes like the overhangs of pagoda roofs.
